Three simple steps to discover your company’s true position.

Step 1: Questionnaire

Your journey begins with a structured questionnaire that covers all critical areas of business health — from leadership and planning to finance, customers, people, and operations. The questions are simple but revealing. They are designed to help you reflect honestly on how your company really functions today, not just how it looks on paper. By answering them, you create a clear snapshot of your organisation’s practices and capabilities.

Step 2: Scoring

Once the questionnaire is completed, your answers are translated into a composite score between 0 and 100. This score isn’t just a number — it reflects the maturity of your organisation’s systems and strategies. A low score signals fragile foundations, a mid-range score points to growing consistency, while a high score demonstrates maturity and readiness to scale. The scoring gives you an objective baseline for where your business stands.

Step 3: Placement

Based on your score, your company is placed into one of three Horizon stages:

  • Start-Up (0–49): Foundations are still being built, risks are high, and systems need strengthening.
  • Grow (50–74): The organisation has structures in place and is achieving progress, but consistency is still developing.
  • Fly (75–100): Systems are strong, sustainable, and innovative, allowing the company to expand and lead confidently.

Each stage is further divided into sub-levels, giving you a sharper understanding of whether you are at the early, middle, or advanced point within that horizon. This placement acts as your company’s compass — showing not only where you are today, but also pointing to the improvements needed to move to the next level.
